Olivia Schloegel

The people and perspectives of our local and regional community deserve a well-rounded and proactive voice in the decision making processes of the state legislature. A variety of service learning and leadership experiences have shaped my communication, technical, and collaboration skills. I’d be honored to serve District 12, providing practical solutions to the needs facing everyday people in North Dakota.

Ready to work for solutions toward:

My favorite things about living in Jamestown are the caring people, the outdoor activities across seasons, and the “in the middle” pace of life. I appreciate the many people working in agriculture, education, healthcare, local business, industry, and all sectors across District 12.

I enjoy local connections as a group fitness instructor, a Meals on Wheels volunteer, and a recent Kiwanis member. I previously served three years on the Jamestown United Way Board.

My family of educators, accountants, and musicians have taught me the beauty of learning, the importance of making balanced decisions, and the need to work together in an empathetic and determined way.

Currently, I work remotely as a research coordinator for a program connecting university scientists, agency staff, and land managers. I was formerly a biologist for the US Geological Survey and an adjunct professor at Valley City State University and the University of Jamestown.
